Child and Youth Services

Introduction

At The Flourish Project, we understand that children and adolescents face unique challenges that can impact their mental health and well-being. Our child and youth services are designed to help children and adolescents develop the skills and strategies they need to cope with life’s challenges, improve their mental health, and reach their full potential.

Signs your child may need support

Parenting is hard. It can be even more difficult when you suspect that your child is struggling with their mental health. It can be tough to know when to seek support, which is why we’ve compiled a list of signs that your child may need help:

How we can help

Our Child and Youth Services are designed to provide evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing various emotional and behavioural difficulties. We understand every child is unique, so we provide tailored treatment plans to address their needs.
We also will ensure our therapeutic approach is comfortable for our young clients and encourages engagement.

Daniel Yeow, is our Senior Psychologist with extensive experience in the field of child and adolescent mental health. Dan is trained in various evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), play therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Daniel is particularly interested in working with young people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioural issues.
We are also experienced in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other developmental disorders

Working with parents

Our child and youth services are designed to provide support not only to the child or young person but also to the parents and family members. We understand that parenting can be challenging, especially when a child is experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties. That’s why we work closely with parents to help them develop strategies to support their child’s mental health and well-being.
